With the life motto of, “Be happy and get out there and play” Katy Johnson’s fashions are inspired by her love of the beach and exotic vacation destinations.

Having grown up in Florida & now living in Hawaii with her husband, being surrounded by the beauty of the ocean and tropics, and seeing beauty in everyday living, Katy has a love for the great outdoors.  Her hobbies where she communes with nature, are horticulture, body boarding, hiking, swimming, snorkeling, and taking a great book to the beach. Indoors, she enjoys drawing, painting, museum exhibits, 14 & 15 century literature, shopping and gourmet cooking!  A vegetarian, she is earth friendly and her designs are too!

Reflecting her love of life, Katy Johnson’s Resort Wear is inspired by the beauty of Hawaii — the sand, surf and people. Katy’s designs are fun, colorful, leather-free and designed for active individuals with stylish habits and relaxed lifestyles. Hence her slogan, “Relax’ n Style.” 

Katy Johnson’s Resort Wear is comfortable enough for a casual day at the beach, and yet appropriate for an sophisticated evening at the Resort.  Katy’s brand is about being happy with yourself and your life and embracing the things inside and outside of yourself that make you feel the best. In keeping, her clothing designs and accessories feel custom made. As if she had exactly you in mind, Katy knows that natural beauty exudes when a woman is comfortable in her skin ... and her clothes.
